Budget-Friendly 5-Door Hatchback

A three-quarter front view of the 2014 Mazda 2 Touring
In short: A versatile, value-packed 5-door hatchback.

2014 Mazda 2 Touring Review

This compact 5-door hatchback offers great value for active young city dwellers. Quick handling and a peppy inline-4 allow the Mazda 2 to dart through crowded urban streets, while 60/40 split fold-down seats and a surprising amount of cargo space make the hatch ideal for out-of-town excursions. Starting at just over $16,000, the Mazda 2 Touring also offers great fuel economy. When subjected to a mix of city and highway driving, our True Red tester earned an impressive 30.9 mpg overall.

Warranty/Service: 36-month/36,000-mile "bumper-to-bumper" warranty; 60-month/60,000-mile powertrain warranty; 24-hour roadside assistance
