2014 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Review

Melding forward-thinking technology with intelligent design, the Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged offers impressive performance both on-road and off. A 5.0-liter, 510-horsepower supercharged V8 propels the two-and-a-half-ton vehicle from 0-60 in just 5.1 seconds. Land Rover’s Terrain Response 2 gives the SUV a sure-footed feel by monitoring ground conditions and automatically configuring vehicle settings for optimum performance.

Our Chile Red tester came loaded with a deafening, 825-watt Meridian surround sound system and nineteen speakers. When terrain gets rough, you may play with an additional seven inches of ground clearance. The 5+2 seating arrangement gives you flexibility in regards to passengers and cargo, with seats that fold flat into the floor. We felt totally safe thanks to a panoply of safety systems, and always ready to go with paddleshifters providing quick access to the SUV’s healthy supply of horsepower. Of course, being cocooned in this type of luxury is pricy, but if you have to ask…
